A benefit from the Halloween snow

We got enough snow on the weekend of Halloween to enable me to make more snow-dyes. I used (Pro Chem names) Intense, Mixing and Navy blues, Mixing Red, Cerise (from Aljo), Strong Orange, Golden Yellow and Lemon Yellow. Without further ado, here are more pictures:

Beautiful, I'm still waiting for the snow to come. Definitely a greenhouse winter so far for us in southern Ontario.

No snow here in California, but I love the dying to create these beautiful clouds. I am working on an art quilt and the background has white clouds with blocks flying around. The dark background with the boxes creates movement,I'm a novice so how can I quilt it without losing the movement.Any ideas? Thanks
